Jason Tyler Burton is an award winning songwriter from Wyoming. He writes songs about life in rural America and yet retains modern sensibilities, writing with humor and a deft yet delicate hand. He is careful with the places and people he writes about, telling complicated truths in straight forward folk and Americana tunes. His new album, Kentuckian, uses his upbringing in the bluegrass state as the setting for stories that deal in universal themes. The album has been called a “working class country roots from gifted songwriter,” and “nothing short of an artistic masterpiece.” Although he's traveled and played music all over the United States, this will be his first show in Denver.
